Wind Farm Project Near Munich Airport Abandoned Over Aviation Safety Concerns

A planned wind farm involving the Bavarian municipalities of Ismaning, Hallbergmoos and Moosinning, together with Munich city energy suppliers, has been abandoned after the South Bavaria Aviation Office and German Air Traffic Control (DFS) objected to the project. The proposed seven wind turbines could not be built because of aviation safety concerns linked to their proximity to Munich Airport.
