Siemens Energy Signals Cautious Path Forward for Struggling Wind Division

Siemens Energy is signaling a measured approach to restructuring its wind operations after CEO Christian Bruch acknowledged limited synergies between the company’s onshore and offshore turbine businesses. Speaking at the group’s annual press conference, Bruch said the wind segment—its only loss-making division—continues to face uncertainty as Siemens Gamesa works to recover from a major quality crisis that contributed to a €1.36 billion operating loss in the fiscal year ending September.
