TenneT is contructing a huge converter station in Bavaria as part of the Suedostlink project

German transmission system operator TenneT is contructing a massive converter station in Ohu, Bavaria. This station, set to be operational by 2027, will distribute millions of kilowatt-hours of wind power from northern Germany to major Bavarian cities like Munich, Ingolstadt, and Regensburg. The site is bustling with activity as workers and engineers prepare the infrastructure, including the installation of large transformers.
