ITER's new commissioning schedule

The ITER commissioning schedule has been revised to begin operation with deuterium-deuterium fusion in 2035, followed by full magnetic power and plasma current. In the next phase, deuterium-tritium fusion will be started. The ITER organization is working on a "realistic" timeline, revising a 2016 plan which planned the first plasma for 2025.
