Turkey discussing with ExxonMobil about multibillion LNG deal

Turkey is in talks with US energy giant ExxonMobil over a multibillion-dollar deal to buy liquefied natural gas, LNG, the Financial Times has reported. Turkey is trying to reduce its dependence on Russian gas and build a “new supply porfolio”, Turkey's Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said in an interview.
