Brazil to further develop renewable energy sources

Brazil has joined an agreement backed by the European Union, U.S. and United Arab Emirates to triple renewable energy globally by 2030 and shift away from using coal. Brazil is now one of roughly 100 countries that have signed onto the deal. Brazil is the largest country in South America. The plan is that the deal will be officially adopted by individual leaders attending the United Nation's COP28 climate conference in Dubai.
