One year ago, U.S. President Joe Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act (climate law) which includes subsidies of roughly $370 billion to help shift the U.S. to cleaner forms of power, reduce greenhouse gases, and create tens of thousands of good paying jobs. Many U.S. companies have subsequently announced their plans to build new solar panel manufacturing plants in the United States.
