Most Germans are willing to make sacrifices to save the planet

According to a survey published recently, two thirds of Germans are willing to make personal sacrifices to protect the planet against climate change. The survey conducted by YouGov on behalf of the German Sunday newspaper Welt am Sonntag also found that 43% of respondents were willing to fly less often, while 40% were prepared to use less heat. Only 27% of survey participants were prepared to change their diet and stop eating meat. The willingness to live without a car was the lowest. Only 13% of respondents were ready to give up private transport.
