Last year’s gas consumption in Czechia was the lowest in the last eight years

According to the last quarterly report on the operation of the gas system published by the Czech Energy Regulatory Office, gas consumption in the Czech Republic in 2022 dropped by 20 % in comparison to 2021. Total gas consumption was the lowest in the last eight years. Consumption also lower thanks to warmer weather, because the average temperature in 2022 was 0.9 °C above the long-term average temperature.
