Estonia preparing legislation for nuclear energy programme

At the beginning of February, Fermi Energia selected GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy's BWRX-300 small modular reactor for potential deployment in Estonia by the early 2030s. The Estonian government has recently received an initial report from the UK-based law company Castletown Law, which was appointed to advise the government on law and legislation necessary for the Estonian advanced civil nuclear energy programme development.
