Westinghouse developing AP1000 reactor supply chain in Poland

Westinghouse Electric Company has signed Memoranda of Understanding with 22 companies in Poland in an effort to build a supply chain for the potential construction of AP1000 reactors in the country as well as other potential projects in Central Europe. Polish companies have a lot of experience in the construction of power units of all kinds. Many of them also have experience in working on nuclear projects around Europe, and Westinghouse wants to takeadvantage of that. In the coming decades, this project could create thousands of jobs in Poland.
