Eurozone inflation climbs to a record 8.6% in June

Surging energy prices partially connected to the war in Ukraine have pushed inflation in the 19 countries using the euro to a record high. Energy costs have risen 41.9% compared to last year's numbers. Food, tobacco and alcohol are also, on average, more expensive by 8.9% than last year.
