Qatar plans to start supplying LNG to Germany in 2024

Germany consumes around 100 billion cubic metres of natural gas each year. Fifty-five percent comes from Russia. In an effort to reduce its reliance on Russian imports, German Economic Minister Robert Habeck visited Qatar in March to negotiate an energy parthership between the two countries.
