GE Hitachi Nuclear to build a small modular reactor in Canada

GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy will build a small modular nuclear reactor (SMR) in cooperation with the Canadian utility Ontario Power Generation (OPG). It will be deployed at OPG's site in Darlington where the utility has a license to build a new nuclear power site that it expects to complete around 2028.
