Iraqi government and Total sign $27 bln energy projects deal

France's Total will build four giant energy projects in southern Iraq under a $27 billion deal signed with the Iraqi government. In the first phase, the company will invest $10 billion. According to the plan, teams of technicians responsible for the engineering work will be mobilised in Iraq by the end of 2021.
