Denmark to construct artificial island in the North Sea as a clean energy hub

Danish government approved plans to construct an artificial island in the North Sea. It will become a clean energy hub. The island will supply both clean power to the electricity grid and hydrogen for use in shipping, aviation and industry. It will be the largest construction project in Danish history. The energy hub is expected to be operable by 2033.
