Great Britain will need new nuclear power plants

In its new report, the Centre for Policy Studies (CPS) think tank says the UK must build new nuclear power plants and recommends that  the UK government explore innovative financing methods for their construction. The UK plans to retire 14 of its 15 currently operating nuclear reactors by 2030. That represents a loss of 7.7 GW of installed capacity.
