Saudi Aramco is interested in buying a stake in a refinery in Gdansk

The Polish company PKN Orlen plans to take over the energy company Lotos. The European Commission demands that Lotos dispose of part of its assets before the merger. The shortlist of potential buyers is expected to be published by the end of the first quarter of 2021. Negotiations have been so far held mainly with the Hungarian firm MOL.
