Framatome, GE and Rosatom team up for Belene NPP project

Rosatom, Framatome and GE Steam Power have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to participate in a tender to construct the Belene nuclear power plant in Bulgaria. Based on the agreements, Rosatom would become a strategic investor in the project, GE would deliver the turbine-generator set and turbine hall equipment, and Framatome would deliver the instrumentation and control (I&C) systems.
