On 20 March, more than 200 participants from around the European Union took part in an online workshop, providing useful input into the discussion on a new EU strategy on methane emissions reduction. The objective of the workshop was to facilitate a discussion among EU stakeholders, representatives of the European institutions and Member States. The participants originally planned to meet in Brussels, but the meeting was changed into an online workshop due to the current challenging circumstances.
