Visegrád Four countries support nuclear power as low-carbon source

On 16 January, prime ministers of the Visegrád Group (V4) of countries met in Prague with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz. They mainly discussed migration, border security and competitiveness. One of the topics on their agenda was the Just Transition Mechanism (JTM) recently announced by the European Commission. JTM is a key tool of the European Green Deal strategy designed to make the EU climate neutral by 2050. The establishment of the Just Transition Fund (JTF) is related to the JTM.
