Republicans in the USA want to change the environment and climate policy

At their convention in Cleveland, Republicans have adopted on 18 July a party platform, which demands the end of CO2 emission limits, withdrawal of the international climate agreements (mainly Paris climate accord from December of last year), opening of protected forests to economic use and ending all subsidies to renewable energy. According to the document, it is not necessary to fight the climate change, because there are much more serious issues endangering the national security.
