Fatal danger of coal pollution

According to a new study commissioned by Greenpeace, particles from coal combustion are a serious health hazard. Some 33,000 years of life are lost every year in Germany and neighboring countries due to pollution emitted by coal-fired power plants in Germany. This translates into about 3,100 premature deaths every year.
