Global warming is slowing down

The latest statistics compiled by NASA, the Met Office and the University of East Anglia suggest the average temperature for 2012 will be about 14.45°C, which is 0.45C above the 1961 to 1990 average. Although this year will be the ninth warmest on record, it seems that the global warming is slowing down. 2012 is cooler than the average for the past decade that was pushed up by soaring temperatures in 2010 and 2005.
