According to EU, Czech Republic and Poland should improve energy labelling

Energy label informs customers about energy consumption of procured products in comparison to other products. Customers can, thus, decide, whether they will pay more for more energy efficient products. A good energy efficiency rating is a matter of prestige for product manufacturers.

The European Union is trying to promote energy efficiency and raise consumers' awareness using the Energy labelling directive. This directive defines common EU thresholds of energy efficiency (B, A, A+ etc.). On July 18, 2011, the European Commission formally asked EU Member States to transform the directive to their national legislation. The Czech Republic and Poland have not yet informed the Commission of the full transposition of the directive. If they do not do so within two months, the Commission may refer them to the European Court of Justice.
