EU and Turkey agreed upon intensified cooperation in the energy sector

Commissioner responsible for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle and Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger met with representatives of Turkey in Istanbul. During the meeting, they agreed upon intensified cooperation between the EU and Turkey in the energy sector. The discussion showed that it is important for both sides to open the energy chapter.
